Had another busy but fulfilling weekend. Good job Nige and I work together as, with me teaching classes Friday and Saturday, and him teaching wax painting all yesterday, we have been like ships passing in the night so at least I get to see him in work.
Talking about ships I am so into all the Titanic and related programmes that are showing at the moment. I really can't get enough of them. If I see the word ship in the title I press record - although methinks I might not book my first cruise just yet.
I had two days of classes with some lovely peeps. From Parchment craft, to Hougie and then scrapbooking it was quite varied. Pat and Sue had travelled up from Windsor for my Saturday classes and it was lovely to meet them. As they are already planning a return visit I think they must have enjoyed themselves.
Yesterday I took mum for a little retail therapy - well you have to, don't you. She insisted on treating me to a pair of sandals - it would have been rude to refuse. And then it was all hands on deck moving a 40' x 20' backdrop that my dad has been painting in a local barn for our forthcoming show. Love a bit of teamwork!
(Have you ever seen a barn this clean!!)
New products are in the shop early this week from Kanban, Trimcraft and Tando. Our May schedule (that includes our National Scrapbooking Day 12 hour scrapathon) will be published in the next couple of days. I know the photos are dreadful but we have a fairy class coming up too. These aren't the projects themselves but ones from our demo day.
Notice the gilding flakes used randomly around the edges.
Before I decide to delete those photos I will sign off and go get my porridge!
Let's dive into another week. Woo its nearly Easter!
Hugs Rosemary x
