The final countdown!

Eleven more days, and sleeps, and our November residential retreat is here once again. 70 lucky ladies get the chance to wind Nige up for a whole weekend. It has to be worth attending for that. We have lots of goodies and giveaways in store, and half a dozen projects that we hope will inspire. On a personal level I look forward to spending time with so many crafting friends. I am trying to remain calm in the final run up to the weekend quoting my new favourite quote ad nauseum. Apparently, it is an old Polish proverb meaning - it's not my problem!

I have just spent a great crafty weekend with friends from The Stamp Pad. This is the weekend that was cancelled back in March because of the heavy snow. It did me the world of good. Projects chosen and prepared by someone else = bliss!
This is one I made using the Kaisercraft film strip blank and Graphic 45's French Country paper range.

I am feeling much much better, thankfully, although cartwheels are still a little tricky. I have managed to squeeze in a couple of album classes before Christmas - a memory file one (kit pictured below) and a foldy one. Check out the dates if you are interested. (I have also started planning a 'mini mad monthly' for next year - details to follow).

Lastly, for now, a shout out for a show I am in 5th, 6th and 7th December. It has an amazing cast, great music and special effects galore. Tickets are on sale now and once ordered can be collected from Crab Apple Crafts (or posted out to you).

Must get back to my final prep for the weekend. Have a happy week.
